PAOK VS GRANADA UEL MATCHDAY 6 PREVIEW

PAOK VS GRANADA  UEL MATCHDAY 6 PREVIEW

By Alex Koutakos

PAOK’s european dream is over but there is still one match to play for the dikefalos tou vorra!

PAOK’s season so far has been full of  rotating and alternating dimensions. Hopefully, tomorrow’s PAOK will be the true PAOK. A PAOK that attacks well, defends as a unit and bosses the midfield through Schwab and El Kaadouri.

Below is my prediction of PAOK’s match against Granada;

PAOK’s Predicted Line-Up: (4-5-1)

Paschalakis(GK)

Lyratzis,Michailidis,Ingason,Crespo

Tzolis,Vrakas, Tsingaras,Konstantelias, Zivkovic

Koustias

Granada’s Predicted Line-Up:(4-5-1)

R.Silva(GK)

Foulquier, Duarte,Sanchez,Neva

Puertas,Eteki,Milla, Gonalons, Machis

Soldado

PAOK’s Recent 5 Game Form:

WLWLW

Granada’s Recent 5 Game Form:

LWLLD

Prediction Of The Game Itself:

I predict that PAOK will win 2-1. I think this because at the moment PAOK will be looking for redemption after PAOK’s loss against Omonia on matchday 5. On a side note there is pressure on Pablo Garcia because  if PAOK loses to Granada, Pablo Garcia could be on the chopping-block already! Thus, PAOK will most likely play a high intensity game, which suits them quite well. On the contrary,Granada is quite vulnerable defensively in terms of defending counter attacks(Sanchez and Duarte are quite slow). Additionally,  I also think that Michailidis will make a costly error near the end of the game that Soldado will pounce on!

Score log: PAOK 2(Tzolis, 11, 33) - 1 (Soldado 88’) Granada

Standings After Matchday 5

Granada- 10 PTS

PSV-  9 PTS

PAOK- 5 PTS

Omonia- 4 PTS
